ABOUT
Gary Hall is a Vermonter who travels in and around the curving, fertile, hardscrabble landscape in a four wheel drive vehicle, or if on water- rowing in a Vermont Pack boat in search of great light for creating his luminous black & white prints. When not pursuing this, he is making images for architects, builders and small hotels for their promotional needs.

He has photographed for the prestigious Relais & Chateaux group of small hotels and for the best selling book ADIRONDACK STYLE published by Clarkson-Potter; this hardback features contemporary interpretations of the rustic style of architecture. His photography has garnered numernous design awards for member firms of the American Institute of Architects.

Gary's other commercial work includes shooting products on location, industrial processes and getting the persona right in portraiture. He has recently made eco-tourism images in Tanzania, taking aerials for a helicopter safari outfit and in Costa Rica promoting small quintessential hideaways.

His black and whilte landscape prints are exhibited frequently and can be found displayed in corporate and private collections. His work also resides at the U.S. ambassador's residence in Lesotho, So. Africa. See the Prints & Pricing page for information on how to aquire prints.
